Is Garnished in Gold jewelry water proof? 

Occasional exposure to water won't damage high quality gold plated jewelry, but we recommend avoiding exposing our 14k & 18k gold plated jewelry to water and other elements like creams, lotions, oils, etc. Immersing gold plated jewelry for long periods of time can cause even the highest quality of gold layering to wear off. 

Is Garnished in Gold jewelry hypoallergenic? 

Our pieces are made of 316L & 304L surgical stainless steel, which are considered lead & nickel free and best for sensitive skin. Surgical steel is safe to wear if you don't have a nickel allergy or a very mild nickel sensitivity. It contains a higher amount of chromium and molybdenum, but it does contain a very small amount of nickel.

Can I swim or workout in my jewelry?

While we recommend removing your jewelry before swimming or exercising to preserve the beautiful, thick layer of real 18 karat gold or sterling silver, occasional swimming or light exercising with your jewelry on should not cause any damage. However, it's essential to keep in mind that consistent exposure to water and sweat might impact the longevity of your Garnished in Gold over time.

 

How do I clean my jewelry? 

We recommend that our customers minimize exposure to water, creams, lotions, and oils to preserve the integrity of their Garnished in Gold pieces. To clean we recommend giving earrings, rings, and necklaces a quick wipe with the complimentary cleaning cloth included in your purchase. For Classic Cuff cleaning, we recommend a quick liquid soap & water cleanse followed by thoroughly patting dry. Do not use a jewelry cleaning cloth to clean the Classic Cuff, as it degrades the gold plating over time. 

 

I’m excited to receive my order! When will it ship?

Once you've received a confirmation number, please allow 3-5 business days (M - F) for order processing and handling. Once your order has been processed and shipped out, you will receive a tracking number via email automatically.

How can I track the status of my order?

Once you place an order, you will received an automated confirmation email with tracking information. As soon as your order ships, you will receive another automated email with tracking information. Please note: some carriers may not have updated tracking information up to 24 hours after it has entered the system. What if I entered the wrong shipping address?

Email us immediately at info@garnishedingold.com with your name, order number, and updated shipping address. In the case that your order has not shipped yet, we will update your shipping address.

 

What items are final sale?

Classic Cuff Bundles and sale items are not eligible for returns and are final sale. 

 

Can I exchange my order?

We do not accept exchanges for anything other than ring sizing issues or possible defects. Please contact support at info@garnishedingold.com to begin the exchange/return process.

Classic Cuff Care Instructions: 

Your Classic Cuff has a stainless steel base and is plated in either 18K Yellow Gold or Silver with Rhodium. To maintain the quality of the Classic Cuff, it  should not be worn while swimming, bathing, exercising or when applying body or hair products. To clean your plated jewelry, use a soft cloth ( and gently wipe (do not buff) the surface. Please do not use water, harsh chemicals, jewelry polishing cloths, or jewelry cleaners as they will affect the finish of the piece. When not wearing your Classic Cuff, it is best to store in the provided pouch provided.
